Lila Petty Rumbaugh

Lila Petty Rumbaugh of South Boston, VA passed away November 17, 2018.  She was born in South Boston, VA on May 2, 1927 and was 91 years of age. She was the daughter of the late William Abel Petty and the late Rosa Nell Smart. She was married for 28 years to Spenser Stebbins Throckmorton and later to the late Robert Dean Rumbaugh.

She was a member of Centerville Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at 3:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Todd McClure officiating. Burial to follow in Halifax Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, one hour prior to the service at Powell Funeral Home.
