Lillian Smith "Cindy" Wilmoth

Lillian S. “Cindy” Wilmoth of Scottsburg, VA passed away December 31, 2020. She was born in Halifax County on January 30 ,1928 and was 92 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Samuel Howard Smith and the late Virgie Allen King smith. She was married to the late Andrew Lee Wilmoth. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and attended Fork Baptist Church. She loved flowers, flatfooting to blue grass music, cooking and quilting. Lillian S. “Cindy” Wilmoth is survived by: Her Children Lillian Mae “Susie” Shults and husband Bernard of Colonial Heights David Lee Wilmoth, Sr. and wife Barbara of Chesterfield Eight Grandchildren Numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren Siblings Anabelle “Baby” Snead of Scottsburg Nannie S. Throckmorton of Scottsburg William “Biggiman” Smith and wife Sarah of Scottsburg ***Preceded in death by*** Daughter, Barbara W. Hackney, Two sisters, Aunt Blanche Langford and Sally. S. “Bump” Lewis, and six brothers, Tom Smith, Hagood Smith, Jimmy “Hoover” Smith, Charlie Smith, Allen Smith, and Dick Smith. A graveside service will be held Monday, January 4, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Ken Warfield officiating.
