Lillie Mae Perkins Keatts

Lillie Mae Perkins Keatts “Pee Wee” went to her Heavenly Father on Friday, June 10th, 2022. She was born February 15, 1928 and was 94 years old. Lillie Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Jasper Turner “Jack” Keatts; her only son, James Turner Keatts, her parents, Issac Thomas and Lillie Landrum Perkins; siblings Thomas Perkins Jr., Douglas Perkins, Linwood “Pete” Perkins, Woodrow “Whitey” Perkins, and Mary “Maggie Sue” Perkins. She is survived by special nephew, Michael Thomas Perkins (Pam), and special niece Karen Perkins Fruend (Walter) and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. One brother, Harvey “Rat” Perkins. In celebration of her life, the family suggests a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association, 355 Rio Road West, Suite 102, Charlottesville, VA 22901 in lieu of flowers. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 15 at 11 a.m. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Reginald Warren officiating. Burial to follow in Halifax Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Powell Funeral.
