Linda Gale Snead

Linda Gale Snead of South Boston, Virginia, passed away on June 14, 2026.  She was born in Halifax County Virginia on May 5, 1947 and was 79 years old.  She was the daughter of the late Hampton and Ruth Saunders Snead.

She was a member of the South Boston Church of God.

She is survived by:

One sister, Nancy S. Irby of Drakes Branch, and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Barbara Ann Lacks, L.H. Snead, Jr. and Billy Snead.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2026 at 2:0 p.m. at Clover Cemetery with the Rev. Don Bryant officiating.
