Margaret Blanks Owen

Margaret Blanks Owen, 78 of Halifax County passed away December 11, 2023.  She was born in Halifax County, VA on December 21, 1944 to the late Woodrow W. Blanks and the late Mollie Dunn Blanks.  She was married to the late Earl Davis Owen. 

Margaret was a member of Revelation Baptist Church.  She retired from Burlington Industries after many years of dedicated service.  Margaret loved her family and will be missed greatly.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, December 14, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kevin Moen officiating. Burial to follow in Oakland Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday, one hour prior to the service at Powell Funeral Home and other times at 3029 Bethel Rd., Halifax, VA.
