Marilyn Kinsler Nichols

Mrs. Marilyn Kinsler Nichols of Halifax passed away Thursday, November 24, 2022 at the South Boston Health and Rehab.  She was born October 5,1939 in Halifax County, VA and was 83 years old.  She was the daughter of the late Roy Kinsler and the late Annie Mae Crenshaw Kinsler and was married to Joseph Pryor “Joe” Nichols.

She was a member of the Hunting Creek Baptist Church.  Marilyn loved music, gardening, and farming with her husband. She retired from Virginia Farm Bureau after 54 years of service.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, November 27,2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Hunting Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Emory officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service and other times at her home.
