Mary Ann Davis

Mary Ann Davis of Roxboro, NC passed away on September 1, 2026 at the age of 86. She was born in Vinton, LA on December 19, 1939 to the late John Grogan and the late Judy Rice Grogan.

She was a member of Bazzel Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Mary Ann enjoyed sewing, bowling, playing cards and cooking, but her greatest joy was her beloved family. Her passing will leave a void to all who knew her.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Rachel McIntosh (Darryl) and Christie Civitella (Tom) both of Roxboro, NC; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sisters, Ethel Verdine of Fuquay Varina, NC and Jeanette Anderson of Vinton, LA; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Reginald Keith Davis; twelve brothers and sisters.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral with Marcus Wilkerson officiating.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 12, one hour prior to the service at Powell Funeral Home.
