Mary Owen White

Mary Thomas Owen White of Nathalie, VA passed away December 23, 2021.  She was born in Halifax County, VA on December 18, 1938 and was 83 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Dewey Overton Owen and the late Aileen West Owen. She was married to the late William Joseph “Will” White, Sr.

She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church where she kept the records for many years and attended regularly before her failing health.  Mary loved family, family gatherings, her animals, dancing in her younger years, teaching and all her students.  Mary also enjoyed going out riding, sightseeing, shopping, giving and receiving cards were some of her greatest joys.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Jack Stewart and Rev. Kevin Moen officiating.
