Michael Phillip Anderson

Mr. Michael Phillip Anderson of Nathalie, VA passed away Saturday, October 1, 2022 at his home.  He was born July 18,1954 in Halifax County, VA and was 68 years old.  He was the son of the late Thomas Edward Anderson, Sr., and the late Erma Joyner Anderson Barnes.

He was of the Baptist faith.  He was a retired truck driver with over 43 years of service. Michael also was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Vietnam Era.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 4,2022 at 2:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church of Republican Grove with the Rev. Ray Owen officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military honors.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at First Baptist Church of Republican Grove and other times at his home.

For memorials please consider the First Baptist Church of Republican Grove, Buffalo Baptist Church, or the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
