Mildred Fisher Roller

Mildred Fisher Roller, 93 of Mount Laurel, VA passed away October 12, 2022  Mildred was born August 29, 1929 and raised in Volens, VA.  She was the daughter of the late Presley Thornton Fisher and the late Minnie Crews Fisher. Mildred was married to the late Frank Meredith (Pony) Roller for 60 years.

Mildred graduated Cum Laude from Volens High School where she was voted Most Popular and Best All Around.  After high school she worked as a telephone switchboard operator at Virginia Telephone and Telegraph in South Boston, VA until she married.  She was a homemaker and devoted member of Mt. Laurel United Methodist Church where she sang in the church choir, enjoyed doing the flower arrangements and was a Sunday School teacher for decades.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Laurel United Methodist Church with the Rev. ReNee Teague officiating. Burial to follow in Clover Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday, one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at her home.
