Monica Lynn Dodson-Conner

Monica Lynn Dodson-Conner of Halifax passed away September 16, 2025 at the age of 60. She was born in Halifax County on May 18, 1965 to the late William Efford “Jerry” Dodson and the late Gladys Stevens Dodson.

She was a member of Winns Creek Baptist Church. Monica enjoyed doing crafts, puzzles, games, and watching hummingbirds. She especially loved spending time with her family and friends and will be missed greatly.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Amber Clardy (Charles) of South Boston, Willie Conner (Angela) of Halifax, and Steven Conner (Etta) of Halifax; eleven grandchildren; and her first cousin Tommy Stevens (Tina) of South Boston.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Winns Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Kopco officiating. Burial to follow in church cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday, one hour prior to the service at the church.
