Nancy Bane Wilborn

Nancy Bane Wilborn of Halifax passed away February 6, 2024 at the age of 85.   She was born in Halifax, VA on March 3, 1938 to the late William Sydnor Bane and the late Maidy Puryear Landrum.  She was first married to James Andrews who survives and then to the late Raymond Wilborn.

She was a member of Halifax Baptist Church.  Nancy retired from textiles as quality control.  She enjoyed sewing, her animals and loved baking, which led to her catering weddings and other events.

A graveside will be held Friday, February 9, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Halifax Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Eddie Collins officiating.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall.
