Buddy was an active member of Halifax United Methodist Church. He loved his church family and they loved him. In 1993, he retired from Solite, Inc, to take on the role as PaPa and part time baby-sitter for his granddaughter, Elizabeth. They were best buddies. He kept a car seat in his truck to travel around town with her, visiting relatives and friends, and running errands. Aside from church and family, Buddy’s greatest passion was golf. He loved playing the game, watching the game, and talking about the game. He had many great friendships that lasted beyond his golfing years. His kind, gentle nature and easy humor will be dearly missed.
