Patricia Layne Wilbourne

Patricia Layne Wilbourne, 69, of South Boston, VA passed away peacefully on March 22, 2024. She was the daughter of Elmer Wilbourne and Nannie Willard Wilbourne; granddaughter of the late H.B. Willard and the late Erna Gravitt Willard.  

Patricia had a great love for all animals, her horses, her goats, but especially for her dogs throughout the years. She enjoyed reading, watching movies, and even playing some video games. Sharing her mother’s family recipes always made her happy, especially as they were enjoyed at all the family gatherings. 

She is survived by her cousins; Ellen Placko and husband Peter of Manakin Sabot, VA, Marshall Willard and wife Gwen of Richmond, and Bryan Doherty of South Boston.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
