Peggy Ann Compton Ratliff, born on December 25, 1941, in Halifax County, Virginia, was the daughter of the late Alex and Pearl Owen Compton. Peggy passed away on October 1, 2023, at Sentara Halifax Regional surrounded by her loving family. Peggy was a devoted member of First Baptist Church, where her beautiful voice graced the choir for many years. She had a fulfilling career in Human Resources at Tultex and was known for her warmth and compassion. She cherished simple pleasures, finding joy in reading, playing Scrabble, and enjoying a round of golf. Most of all, Peggy loved spending time with family and friends, whom she cherished deeply. Peggy is survived by her beloved husband, Bobby L. Ratliff, Sr. Peggy Ann Compton Ratliff will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love and kindness will live on in our hearts.
