Percy Moore Crews

Percy Mae Moore Crews- devoted wife, mother, and friend to many- passed away January 8, 2023.  She was born in Halifax County on April 10, 1942 and was 80 years of age.  She was the daughter of the late Letcher Clifton Moore and the late Nora Dunaway Moore.  She was married to the late Howard Eugene Crews, Sr.

She was a member of Catawba Baptist Church.  Percy loved going to yard sales, shopping, soap operas, gameshows and listening to races. She especially loved her dog, Buttercup.  Percy will be remembered in love by all who knew her.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at 12: 00 P.M. at Catawba Baptist Church with the Rev. Norman Talley officiating.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home and other times at her home.
