Phillip M. Brown

Phillip M. Brown of South Boston, Virginia, age 69, passed away on February 19th at Centra Hospital in Lynchburg, Virginia. He was the son of Dorothy Loftis Brown and Melvin S. Brown of South Boston, both of whom pre-deceased him.

He is survived by five first cousins: Mrs. Betty Drury, Mrs. Jackie Harris, Mrs. Becky Nunn, Mr. Robert Satterfield, and Mrs. Janet Woody. He was pre-deceased by his special cousin Patricia Loftis, who coordinated the care of Phil and his Mother for many years prior to Pat’s  death in 2019.

The family wishes to thank Phil’s caring and loving attendants for their steadfast support for him over the years; they gave him a good quality of life day in and day out, in spite of his difficult health situation. They include: Ms. Katelin Cash, Mrs. Doris Cole, Mrs. Cindi Cole, Mrs. Amye Conner, Mrs. Brenda Jacobs, Mrs. Erma Lowery, Mrs. Rae Rickman, Mrs. Norma Smith, Mrs. Myrtle Spangler, Mrs. Robin Thompson, Mrs. Luanne Walker, Mrs. Janet Woody, and Mrs. Tina Woosley.

A Memorial Service will held at a later time.
