Ray McDonald Wilborn, Jr.

Ray McDonald Wilborn Jr. of Lynchburg, VA passed away May 8, 2024 at the age of 76.  He was born in Halifax County on September 30, 1947 to the late Ray M. Wilborn, Sr. and the late Margaret Wilborn.  He was married to Allene D. Wilborn who survives.

He was a member of Scottsburg United Methodist Church.  Ray served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Era.  After proudly serving his country, during his career he went to work with ABB in South Boston, and Delta Star in Lynchburg, VA.    Ray enjoyed watching NASCAR, country music and especially his grandson and his cat.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 11, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at Oakland Cemetery, Scottsburg, VA.
