She then went on to receive her Master's of Vocal Performance from Converse College in Spartansburg, SC. She was also a graduate of the prestigious Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia, PA.  Performing as a soprano, Rebecca spent much of her career with the Opera Company of Philadelphia, where she made many lifelong friends. Her most recent performance was a solo prior to joining the choir for the First Baptist Church of South Boston's Christmas Cantata on December 12th, 2021
