Richard Elmore Cheek

Richard Elmore Cheek of Clover, VA passed away December 11, 2022.   He was born in Halifax County, VA on October 29, 1934 and was 88 years of age.  He was the son of the late Charlie Burett Cheek and the late Jesse Church Cheek.  He was married to the love of his life, Joyce Seamster Cheek who survives.

Richard enjoyed bowling and working on cars, but his true joy came from spending time with his family.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Lavender officiating.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, one hour prior to the service.
