Richard Wayne Satterfield

Richard Wayne Satterfield of Halifax, VA passed away June 22, 2019.  He was born in Halifax County, VA on February 15, 1944 and was 75 years of age. He was the son of the late Wilson J. Satterfield and the late Mildred McDowell Satterfield. He was married to the late Ann O’Brien Satterfield.

He was a member of Scottsburg United Methodist Church and a United States Army Veteran who served during the Vietnam Era.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home with the Rev. Jack Stewart officiating. Burial to follow in Mt. Vernon Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Military Rites.

The family will receive friends Thursday, one hour prior to the service at Powell Funeral Home.
