Richard Kay Stotlar

Richard Kay Stotlar of South Boston passed away on July 22, 2026 at the age of 84. He was born in Solon, Ohio to the late Herbert Stotlar and the late Dora Tennant Stotlar. He was married for fifty-eight years to Judith Hellen Lusk Stotlar who survives. Richard was of the Catholic faith, and avid runner and golfer. His passing will leave a void to all who knew him.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Judith H. Stotlar; his children, Sara Brown (Russell) of Glen Burnie, MD, and Christopher Allen Stotlar (Joy) of Round Hill, VA; eight grandchildren; and one brother, James Stotlar (Suzanne) of CA. He was preceded in death by five siblings, Bob Stotlar, Lynda May Reed, Joanne Ettingen, Clair Stotlar and Stanley Stotlar.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
