Rickey Lacks

Rickey Lacks of Clover passed away on April 20, 2026 at the age of 66. He was born in Halifax County on November 11, 1959 to the late Winston Henry and Lucille L. Lacks.

He attended Living Waters Church of God. Rickey worked for Mayo Power Plant and the Halifax County School System. He loved to keep his yard looking perfect and loved a good joke. His passing will leave a void to all who knew him.

Left to cherish his memory is his son, Rickey Lacks of Crewe, VA;  his sisters, Joyce Garibay and husband Donald Adams of Scottsburg, Judy Yates and husband Cheyenne of Scottsburg, and Valerie Carlton and husband Kenneth of Scottsburg. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jeff Lacks and Tony Lacks and six other siblings.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. at Living Waters Church of God with Pastor Devin Snead officiating
