Rodney Dale Henderson

Mr. Rodney Dale Henderson of Lynchburg, VA, passed away on Friday, July 23, 2021. He was born in Halifax County VA on June 16, 1977 and was 44 years old. He was the son of Roger Dale Henderson and Sheila B. Henderson, both who survive. He was a member of Ash Avenue Baptist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved his dogs and cats. He loved gardening and was especially proud of his tomatoes. Survivors include: His daughter Summer LeAnn Cole of South Boston His parents Roger and Sheila Henderson of South Boston His brother Justin Henderson (Allison) of South Boston His grandchildren Wesley and Autumn Cole of South Boston His Nieces Jodi Lynn Henderson and Dani Mae Henderson of South Boston His cat Bam He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alfred “Tootsie” and Rebecca Whitt and James and Mamie Kate Henderson A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
