Roy Lee Yeatts

Mr. Roy Lee Yeatts of Halifax, VA passed away July 11, 2022. He was born in Halifax County, VA on March 24, 1940 and was 82 years of age. He was the son of the late Henry Orville Yeatts and the late Kattie Lawston Yeatts. He was married to the late Orene Beverley Yeatts. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and Bethel Ruritan Club. Roy served in the United States Army and later retired as an auto mechanic. Roy Lee Yeatts is survived by: His Sons Dewey Lee Yeatts and wife DonnaLee of Whitehall, PA Kevin Yeatts and wife Leslie of Halifax Two Grandchildren Jonathon Yeatts of Halifax Joseph Yeatts of Halifax One Sister Marie Moore of Lynchburg Host of Nieces and Nephews ***Preceded in death by*** Siblings Roger Yeatts, Eloise Martin, and Doris Satterfield A funeral service will be held Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kevin Moen officiating. Burial to follow in Halifax Memorial Gardens with Military Rites. The family will receive friends Thursday, one hour prior to the service at Powell Funeral Home.
