Ruth M. Conner

Ruth McGregor Conner of Halifax, VA passed away November 23, 2020.  She was born in Pittsylvania County on May 30, 1932 and was 88 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Addie Thomas McGregor and the late Betsy Slayton McGregor. She was married to the late James Milford Conner.

She was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church where she served as a nursery worker and was on the Hospitality Committee where she helped with many dinners and lunches.

A graveside service will be held Friday, November 27, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Wilkins officiating. In keeping with CDC guidelines, facemask and social distancing are recommended.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
