Ruth Poole Ragans

Mrs. Ruth Poole Ragans of South Boston, VA passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2019.  She was born in Halifax County July 19, 1933 and was 86 years old.  She was the daughter of the late Stephen Poole and Lillie  Poole and was married to the late Clyde Thomas Ragans. She was a highly dedicated member of Black Walnut Baptist Church, the Order of the Eastern Star, and the Woodmen of the World. She spent much of her life helping her husband with his electrical business and loved gardening. She was a great supporter of many local civic endeavors. She is survived by:One daughterBettie R. Raymond Wooten officiating.
