Ruth Marie Andrews Rutherford

Ruth Marie Andrews Rutherford of Vernon Hill, VA passed away January 9, 2023.  She was born in Halifax County, VA on March 12, 1944 and was 78 years of age.  She was the daughter of the late Boy Miller Andrews and the late Thelma Whitlow Andrews.  She was married to James Wayne Rutherford, Sr. who survives.

She was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.  Ruth loved cows, horses, cooking and flying.   She will be remembered in love by all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Wilkins officiating.

The family will receive friends Saturday, one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at her home.
