Shirley Jean C. Gentry

Mrs. Shirley Jean Carr Gentry of South Boston, VA passed away Friday, November 20, 2020 at the South Boston Health and Rehab.  She was born December 4, 1937 in Halifax County, VA and was 82 years old.  She was the daughter of the late Willie Herman Carr, Sr. and the late Annie Sue Perkins Carr.                                

She was a of the Baptist Faith.

Gregory Lee Gentry (Barbara) of South Boston

One Daughter

Jennifer Ann Conner of Halifax

Graveside services will be held Monday, November 23, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at the Carr Family Cemetery, 1170 Clarkton Rd., Nathalie, VA with the Rev. Norman Talley officiating.

The family will receive friends at the home of her son, 1081 Arthur Ware Trail, South Boston, VA
