Shirley Marguerite Vaughan

Shirley Marguerite “Sty Sty” H. Vaughan of South Boston, VA passed away April 25, 2019.  She was born in Halifax County, VA on July 9, 1937 and was 81 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Shirley Hall and the late Ruby Layne Hall. She was married to the late Shirley Lee Vaughan.

She enjoyed life and loved working outside in her yard, spending time at the lake and playing horseshoes. She played softball and bowled on numerous leagues. She retired form J.P. Stevens.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Steve Whitt officiating.

The family will receive friends Saturday, one hour prior to the service and other times at 1202 Watkins Ave., South Boston, VA.
