Obituary Notice Mr. Stephen George Poole Mr. Stephen George Poole of Scottsburg, VA passed away Thursday, April 13, 2023, at Lynchburg General Hospital. He was born April 3, 1937, in Halifax County, VA and was 86 years old. He was the son of the late Troy Poole and the late Laura Millhouser Poole. Stephen was married to the late Joanne Powell Poole. He was a member Bethel Baptist Church. Stephen enjoyed spending his free time in the great outdoors where he enjoyed fishing. Mr. Poole was also an avid baseball fan, especially of the New York Yankees. Mr. Stephen Poole is survived by: One Son Dwight Poole of Scottsburg, VA One Brother Cliff Poole (Margie) of Hampton, VA *Preceded in death by* One Brother Ellis Poole A Graveside memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev.
