Steven Alfred Walton

Steven Alfred Walton of South Boston passed away on June 14, 2026 at the age of 62. He was born in Halifax County on March 5, 1964 to Selestine Cardwell Walton Sutphin (Floyd) and the late Roscoe Ruben Walton, Sr. He was married to the late Wendy Moore Walton.

He was a member of South Boston Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and he loved art, Jehovah and the Bible. His passing will leave a void to all who knew him.

In addition to his mother and stepfather he is survived by his siblings, Roscoe R. Walton, Jr., Jerry C. Walton, Daryl K. Walton, Keith D. Walton, April D. McCadden, and Marvin B. Walton. He was preceded in death by his infant son.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
