Suzan Allen Maxwell

Suzan Allen Maxwell of South Boston, VA passed away on Saturday Aug. 10, 2019 at Chippenham Hospital. She was born in South Boston, May 23, 1957 and died at the age of 62.  She was preceded by her parents William J Allen and Iris Lee Glass Allen and husband Stuart Maxwell.

Suzan was a member of First Baptist Church of South Boston, a retired Halifax County teacher and guidance counselor and gave generously to the Halifax County Humane Society.  

Suzan A. Maxwell is survived by her brother William Thomas Allen II (Bill) and wife Patricia W. Allen (Tish); a niece Ashley (Allen) Woods and her husband Bart,  grand-niece Skylar,  nephew William (Billy) J. Allen, brother-in-law William (Bill) Maxwell and wife Catherine (Dee Dee) L. Maxwell and sister-in-law Julia  (Kitty) Maxwell Godsey,  many cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held Sunday Sept. 1, 2019 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of South Boston with Pastor Bowman.
