Tanya Childress Moore

Tanya Childress Moore of Vernon Hill passed away on December 23, 2025 at the age of 62. She was born on September 25, 1963 in Durham, NC to Phyllis Gentry Childress who survives and the late James Childress. She was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed trips to the beach.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by two sisters; special friend, Larry Griffin of Vernon Hill; and a special uncle, Bill Gentry of Apex, NC.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
