Thomas Elmo Beckham

Thomas Elmo Beckham of South Boston, VA passed away October 3, 2022.   He was born in Columbia, TN on February 3, 1944 and was 78 years of age.  He was the son of the late Julian Hoyt Beckham and the late Eunice Minerva Beckham.  He was married to Linda McGowan Beckham who survives.

He was a member of South Boston Church of Christ.  Thomas earned his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology in Cookeville, TN and employment with Westinghouse later ABB brought him to South Boston, VA.  He was later employed at Daystrom Furniture.  Thomas’ love for his community led him to volunteer for the Red Cross Bloodmobile for many years.

A memorial service will held on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at South Boston Church of Christ.

The family will receive friends Saturday, one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at his home.
