Thomas Hopkins Hall

Mr. Thomas Hopkins Hall of Halifax, VA passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at his home.  He was born March 30, 1947 in Halifax County, VA and was 76 years old.  He was the son of the late Charles Lowell Hall and the late Myrtle Oakley Hall and was married to the late Anita Ferguson Hall. 

He was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ and loved attending Hope Church in South Boston. He served in the United States Army and was a member of American Legion Post 8. He retired from Hilden America as a salesman and Vice President of Sales. All who knew him knew that he had many loves; his tractor, his wood stove, Bojangles, the Breakfast Club, but especially his family. He was a true patriot, and he will be missed by us all.

A memorial service will be held Monday, April 17, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jesse Young officiating.

The family will receive friends Sunday, April 16, 2023 from 7:00 until 8:30 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home.
