Thomas Michael Jackson

Mr. Thomas Michael Jackson of Nathalie, VA passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026. He was born in Halifax County, VA on July 11,1977 and was forty-eight years old. He was the son of the late John Henry Jackson and Doris Layton Jackson who survives and was married for sixteen years to Leslie Francis Jackson. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He always enjoyed a good time. His true passion was collecting scrap metal and he proved the adage, “One man’s scrap is another man’s gold”.

Survivors include: His wife of sixteen years Leslie Francis Jackson of Nathalie Three children Serenity Jackson, Lydia Jackson, and Thomas M. “Main Man” Jackson Jr., all of the home His mother Doris Layton Jackson of South Boston Siblings Jennifer Jackson of Chatham Christy Hatcher (Jeremy) of South Boston Jason Jackson (Jessica) of Amherst He was preceded in death by one brother, Darrell Layton

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Halifax Memorial Gardens with Pastor Randall Waller officiating. The family will receive friends at Powell Funeral Home Tuesday evening from 6-7:00 PM and other times at the home of his sister, Christy Hatcher, 1217 East Hyco Road, South Boston.
