Tommy Earl Nye

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Tommy Earl Nye, who departed this life peacefully in his sleep on May 20, 2025. Tommy was born on March 20, 1967 to the late Robert D. Nye and the late Dorothy S. Yater Nye.

Tommy was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, husband and friend. He is survived by his seven siblings, Robert W. Nye, Robin S. Vitale, Barbara M. Thomason, Sandra L. Akers, Kenny A. Nye, his twin Terry S. Nye and Eric E. Nye; family, work and church family. His loving and generous spirit touched all who knew him, and he will be deeply missed by his family, friends and his community.

A celebration of life will be held on June 8, 2025 from 1:00 – 5:00 P.M. at Hyco Lake Park and Campground inside the William H. Barker Community Building.
