Virgil David Conner

Virgil David Conner of South Boston, VA passed away April 25, 2021.  He was born in Halifax County, VA on July 9, 1938 and was 82 years of age. He was the son of the late Everette F. Conner and the late Ellie Saunders Conner. He was married to Bonnie Zickefoose Conner who survives.

He was a member of Hunting Creek Baptist Church and attended Southside Baptist Church. He served in the United States Army and the National Guard. He retired from Southern States after many years of service.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Halifax Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Don Bryant officiating.
