Walter Kent Cundiff

Mr. Walter Kent Cundiff 72, of Ringgold, VA passed away November 7, 2023.  He was born in Pittsylvania County, VA on September 10, 1951 to the late Elijah Dick Cundiff and the late Rachel Kent Cundiff.  He was married to Barbara Womack Cundiff.

He attended Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.  Walter retired after many years as a dedicated crane operator.  He loved tinkering with his old tractors which gave him great joy, however his greatest joy came from his family especially his grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Wilkins officiating. Burial to follow in church cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at his home.
