Walter Cardwell Smith of Halifax, VA passed away June 19, 2022. He was born in Chase City, VA on May 16, 1941 and was 81 years of age. He was the son of the late Banner Smith and the late Emma Brooks Smith. He was married to Betty Epps Smith who survives. He was United States Army Veteran. Walter retired from RTP after many years of dedicated service.
