William Willard Lloyd of Clover passed away on November 5, 2025 at the age of 82. He was born in Halifax County, VA on February 16, 1943 to the late Jack Willard Lloyd and the late Pauline Edmunds Lloyd. He was married to Helen Powell Lloyd who survives.
He was a member of Providence Presbyterian Church. Willard loved working with his hands and took pride in his work as a building contractor. He was an outdoorsman who found great joy in hunting and fishing and spent many happy hours doing so. His passing will leave a void to all who knew him.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 64 years, Helen P. Lloyd; two daughters, Tina L. Booth (Todd) of Clarksville, Tammy L. Martin (Johnny) Greensboro, NC; six grandchildren, Lora Reamey (Dustin) of Skipwith, Evan Booth (Brianna) of Chase City, Nicholas Booth (fiancée Kayla) of Clarksville, Kyle Martin, Kasey Martin, and Kaleb Martin all of Greensboro, NC; great grandchildren, Waylon, Whitley, McKenzie and Harper; two sisters, Dale C. Mitchell of Midlothian and Sheila Bowlin of Amelia.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ellis Lloyd and Phillip Lloyd.
A private family graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at the Powell Family Cemetery with Todd Booth and the Rev. Steven Powell officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Providence Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall.
