Sophia Ann Fisher Moore

Sophia Ann Fisher Moore of Nathalie, VA passed away September 18, 2018.  She was born in Halifax County, VA on date and was 77 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Giles Sydnor Fisher, Sr. and the late Jesse DeJarnette Fisher. She was married to Carroll Moore, Sr. for 59 years, who survives.

She was a member of The Berry Hill Presbyterian Church and a 47 year employee at Spaulding Equipment Company.  She enjoyed bowling, her friends and family at Spaulding Equipment Company and cashing in on the Virginia Lottery, which she did often.  Sophie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many.

Graveside service will be held Friday, September 21, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Berry Hill Presbyterian Church Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Rickman officiating.

The family will receive friends Thursday, September 20, 2018 from 5:00 until 7:00 at the home of Ronnie and Leigh Moore, 1040 Brook Run, Halifax, VA
